FastAmy’s Stunning Supra Transformation

25th June 2025

At Quotax Insurance, we’re big fans of modified cars—and we absolutely love it when our clients share their builds with us. One of the most exciting stories we’ve come across is from Amy (@fastamy_official) and her jaw-dropping transformation of a 1993 Toyota Supra.

Chasing the Dream

Amy had always dreamed of owning a Supra, but like many enthusiasts, the twin-turbo models were just a bit out of reach—unless she sold off one of her other beloved cars (no thanks!). Instead, she tracked down a naturally aspirated (NA) model. It needed some TLC, sure—but the essentials were solid: no rust, a great engine, and a strong service history. A true diamond in the rough.

Bayside Blue Brilliance

Once the car was hers, Amy wasted no time turning it into something special. Choosing the paint colour was one of the hardest decisions—but in the end, she went with Bayside Blue, a nod to her favourite JDM icon: the R34 Nissan Skyline. The result? Absolutely stunning.

She kept the modifications subtle and tasteful. Rather than going all-out with a wild body kit, she added a neat front splitter and refreshed the exterior with new lights, indicators, decals, and badges. It’s clean, it’s classy, and it turns heads everywhere it goes.

Style and Performance, Perfectly Balanced

Amy didn’t stop at looks. She upgraded the handling with Tein adjustable coilovers—professionally installed at Garage-D—and swapped the wheels for a set of Volk Racing split rims. A new HKS exhaust gave the car a proper performance note and brought the build to life.

Inside, the Supra got just as much love. Recaro racing seats, custom colour-coded dash plastics, and bespoke Supra floor mats pulled the whole vibe together. Every corner of the car now feels personal and performance-driven.

From the Streets to the Screen

Amy’s Supra isn’t just famous on Instagram—it’s been on screen, too! As a die-hard Fast & Furious fan, Amy wanted to honour the franchise with some subtle Gulf-themed racing stripes, giving a stylish nod to the iconic orange Supra from the films.

The tribute paid off. Her car was picked as a background vehicle in Fast X during a drag racing scene filmed at Bovingdon Studios. Even cooler? It also appeared in the recent Amazon Prime car-racing film “My Fault London” as a background car. Talk about a star in the making!

And to top it all off, Craig Lieberman—the original Technical Director of the first two Fast & Furious movies—personally signed the dashboard during a trip to London. Now that’s the ultimate fan moment.

What’s Next?

Amy’s Supra is nearly perfect—but as any modifier knows, a project car is never really finished. The last touch? Swapping out the original gear knob, which has seen better days. And who knows—maybe a turbo kit is in the future. Amy’s got her eye on it, and we can already imagine how incredible that would be.
